FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HUNTINGBURG, IN -- We’re going bananas—figuratively. The Dubois County Bombers, in partnership with Visit Dubois County, are bringing a brand-new kind of baseball experience to Historic League Stadium this summer, as the new and wildly entertaining Chicago Snowballs come to town for two special appearances on Saturday, July 25th (evening) and Sunday, July 26th (matinee). These won’t be your typical baseball games. The Chicago Snowballs are following the lead of several other nationally-recognized teams known for turning America’s pastime into a full-blown spectacle—where the action doesn’t stop between pitches, and fans aren’t just watching the game…they’re part of it. From choreographed dances and on-field antics to unexpected moments that keep you laughing, cheering, and wondering what just happened, every inning delivers something new. If you’ve ever wished a baseball game moved a little faster, felt a little louder, or had a few more “did-that-really-just-happen?” moments…this is your night. “These games are going to be unlike anything we’ve ever hosted at League Stadium,” said Justin Knepp, Owner & Team President of the Dubois County Bombers. “There’s clearly a growing interest for this new style of fun, fast-paced, spectacle-type baseball, and that’s exactly what we’re bringing to Dubois County. It’s high energy from start to finish, and our fans are going to love it.” Fans can expect a one-of-a-kind atmosphere featuring high-energy music, fan participation, on-field entertainment, and a style of play that doesn’t take itself too seriously—but still delivers plenty of baseball along the way. The Snowballs will be playing another team in their new league while the Bombers are traveling on the road during these two dates. Whether you’re a lifelong baseball fan or someone who just wants a fun night out with family and friends, these two games are built to be memorable from the first pitch to the final out—and everything in between. Tickets for both games will go on sale in April (date to be announced soon) and demand is expected to be extremely high. Ticket prices will be $30 for adults, $15 for kids, with general admission style seating. Fans are encouraged to act quickly once tickets become available.
