Position Overview: The Dubois County Bombers are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Manager of Operations to oversee and help lead all aspects of our organization. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on every facet of the team’s operations, from group sales and advertising to stadium management and front office duties. The General Manager of Operations will report directly to the team’s president and will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of the​ team on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Advertising:
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive group ticket sales and advertising revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of promotional packages for advertising and group events.
• Stadium Operations:
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of stadium operations, including game-day logistics, staffing, and vendor relations.
  • Ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for fans, players, and staff.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and improvements as needed.
• Front Office Duties:
  • Lead and manage the front office team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Plan and execute team events, community outreach initiatives, and promotional nights.
• Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for team operations, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the president to align organizational strategy with team goals.
  • Inspire and motivate staff, interns, and game-day employees to contribute to the Bombers’ success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sports management, sales, marketing, or related fields​ is preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the RIGHT individual who is eager to learn and grow.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for sports, community engagement, and delivering exceptional fan experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings​ and weekends DURING the season.
