HUNTINGBURG, IN — The Dubois County Bombers have unveiled their 2026 promotional night schedule, and once again the team promises a summer packed with some of the craziest, funniest, and most creative theme nights in all of baseball at historic League Stadium.
From dancing for real 2.5 carat diamonds, to winning used cars, to a history-making Halloween costume game, Bombers fans can expect a show this season that goes far beyond the game itself. As the team likes to say: “It’s not just baseball — it’s an experience.” “Nobody does promotional nights like we do,” said Justin Knepp, Owner & Team President. "We work hard to create a unique experience with one simple goal in mind—to make sure fans leave League Stadium with a story they can’t wait to tell.” The home season opens on Thursday, May 28th with Opening Night & Opening Arguments as the Bombers host the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes. One of the most anticipated games of the season arrives July 11th with The History-Making Halloween Costume Classic, where both teams will play the game entirely in Halloween costumes--a baseball first. The Bombers will also host host A League of Their Own Night: The Peaches vs. Belles Classic on Saturday, June 20th. This will be a full, 7-inning girls softball game and tribute to the movie with several surprises planned. The game will take place while the Bombers are on the road that evening. Fans are encouraged to dress in vintage clothing to commemorate the era and the movie. Single game tickets for the 2026 season will go on sale soon. The team features top college players from all over the U.S. who are looking to improve their skills and play professionally. They compete in the nationally renowned Prospect League--a wooden bat league consisting of 20 teams across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
