Dubois County, IN – June 17, 2025 — The Big League Baseball Classic, presented by Dubois County Bombers Charities & Visit Dubois County, is returning to historic League Stadium on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, for what promises to be the biggest and most exciting version of the event yet. This one-of-a-kind throwback game brings former Major League Baseball stars back to the field at the stadium made famous in A League of Their Own. Confirmed MLB players include Vince Coleman, Jason Isringhausen, Scott Spiezio, Armando Galarraga, Jason Motte, Brian Jordan, Clayton Richard, Bryan Eversgerd, Josh Phegley and many others (plus former Dubois County Bombers legends, local high school and collegiate legends, and even local celebrities). 

New for 2025 is a pre-game Home Run Derby, where former MLB sluggers and Bombers alumni will go head-to-head in a power-packed exhibition. Also returning is the popular VIP Player Meet & Greet, which allows fans to meet the players, take photos, and collect autographs. VIP tickets are $25 and extremely limited.

This year’s event will also features a special partnership with Ray Howard and the Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame, giving fans the opportunity to engage with Indiana’s rich baseball history.

Position Overview: The Dubois County Bombers are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Manager of Operations to oversee and help lead all aspects of our organization. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on every facet of the team’s operations, from group sales and advertising to stadium management and front office duties. The General Manager of Operations will report directly to the team’s president and will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of the​ team on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Advertising:
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive group ticket sales and advertising revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of promotional packages for advertising and group events.
• Stadium Operations:
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of stadium operations, including game-day logistics, staffing, and vendor relations.

The Dubois County Bombers are now hiring for a Front Office Operations Manager for the 2025 season and beyond. This is a seasonal (summer) position with a highly competitive salary commensurate with experience. 

Given the explosive growth of the team in the 2023 & 2024 seasons, we are looking for a candidate with incredible organizational and communication skills to help manage multiple front office duties during the season. This will be a highly visible position within the organization.

This is a hybrid commute position with the ideal candidate needing to be available to work in the team's newly renovated front office at League Stadium throughout the day during the week as needed, while also having ample opportunities to work from home throughout the week as well. The ideal candidate will also be expected to work during every Bombers home game as well. Again, the schedule will provide a lot of flexibility. Some days will absolutely require the position to be at the stadium during the day, while other days will allow work from home. No two days will be the same. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
-Assisting with invoicing of group ticket sales and advertising packages.
-Managing and ordering inventory in our gift shop, stadium bars, and more.
-Assisting with the planning & management of our unique, one-of-a-kind promo nights.
-Answering the team phone and answering team-related emails from fans and vendors alike.
-Ordering meals in advance for the team for road trips.
-Helping to manage the delivery of items to stadium.
-Being available to assist with school field trips touring the stadium.
-Managing several aspects of game day as it relations to stadium and staff operations.

The ideal candidate might be someone who has summers off--such as teachers, professors, etc. The position will report directly to the Team President. 

If you love Bombers baseball, are well-organized, energetic, great with communication, and available to work full time each week during the months of June & July, this position is for you.
