Bombers Sign Local Talent
The Bombers have signed Dubois County natives Derek Katter and Brett Merkley for the 2009 summer. Katter, a graduate of Jasper High School will man the outfield. Merkley, who spent his high school days at Forest Park, joins the Bombers as a right-handed pitcher. For more information, vist the news tab at the top of the page for the release.

Put together a nice season in his first year for the Bombers...batted .254 with four doubles...reached base at a team-high .409 clip...will provide the Bombers with a talented left-handed bat in 2009
SAN BERNARDINO VALLEY COLLEGE (2008): Starred as a freshman...started all 24 games for the Wolverines...batted .376 with a team-high 11 doubles...drove in 21 runs...reached base at an astronomical .477 clip...played primarily at first base while also spending time pitching.
