Our largest local radio station, WITZ, is the ideal partner for the Dubois County Bombers. The station broadcasts from Jasper, Indiana and reaches 27,000 listeners each and every day.

The Dubois County Bombers are partnering with WITZ in advertising and broadcasting 6
to 8 Bombers games during the 2006 season. There are 3 types of radio advertising spots available.

Pre Game Spots
These are 30 second commercials designed to promote the upcoming game and radio broadcast while mentioning your company as the sponsor. There are 15 Pre Game spots broadcast on the day of the game between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. You may or may not be the only sponsor mentioned depending on how many pre game sponsorship spots were included in the package you purchased.

In Game Spots
These are 30 second commercials during the course of the game occurring between innings or during a break in the action such as a pitcher change. Anywhere from 2-4 In Game Spots can run at the end of each half inning with an estimated 44 spots for the entire game.

Drop Ins
These are not full 30 second commercials but rather a quick mention during a special part of the ballgame. They can make your imagination run wild. For example, whenever a base is stolen we might say “This stolen base is brought to you by Better Security Systems for the absolute BEST way to keep your valuables safe.” Or if there is a change in the pitcher, we might say “This Call to the Bullpen is brought to you by your local Cingular Dealer. Make the switch to Cingular today!” About 12 – 15 drop in spots will be aired per game.

Advertising spots are available in various combinations as shown below to promote your business. WITZ Sports Director Walt Ferber (the voice of the Bombers) will be announcing the games live from League Stadium in Huntingburg, Indiana.
