Bombers Sign Local Talent
The Bombers have signed Dubois County natives Derek Katter and Brett Merkley for the 2009 summer. Katter, a graduate of Jasper High School will man the outfield. Merkley, who spent his high school days at Forest Park, joins the Bombers as a right-handed pitcher. For more information, vist the news tab at the top of the page for the release.

   Matt Antos

Senior; Pitcher
SUMMER (2008): Made 13 appearances for the Bombers including one start...fired 28 innings and posted 25 strikeouts...throws from a low 3/4 arm slot...possesses all the tools to be a top-level relief pitcher in the Prospect League

2008 SEASON:
In his sophomore year, Antos pitched 27 innings in 21 games. He struck out 21 batters, while only giving up one home run.

2007 SEASON: Antos had 15 appearances and 6 starts in 2007, while picking up 2 wins. Against Goshen, Matt picked a win in the relief role throwing 4 innings. With the start against Grace, Antos picked up the win with 4 innings pitched, while only giving up one run.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Antos pitched and saw time as a first baseman at LaPorte High School. As a junior, he was named 1st Team All-Area and 2nd Team All-DAC. His senior year he was 1st Team All-Area and 1st Team All-DAC.

PERSONAL:
Matt is the son of David and Carla Antos. He has two brothers, Kyle and Jonathon. Matt is majoring in OLS at IPFW.
