Fund Raising thru Ticket Sales
Groups raise money by selling tickets for a particular Bombers home date. All tickets sold by the group are priced at $6.00. This is the same price that our Orange Chair Back ticket sells for at the ballpark If the Orange Chair backs sell out then a General Admission ticket would be substituted. Each group will earn $2.00 on each ticket sold
Each group will designate one person as their Ticket Manager. The Ticket Manager will maintain proper records of tickets sold which will include Name, Number of Tickets, Date Sold, Payment Method (Cash/Check) and Phone Number. The period for selling tickets can start anytime but must be completed by the Cutoff Date - 4 weeks prior to the game date. The Groups Ticket Manager will deliver all orders and money received to a Dubois County Bomber representative on the Cutoff Date. At least 3 weeks prior to the game the Bombers representative would meet with the Ticket Manager and deliver all of the tickets for the group. The groups Ticket Manager delivers the tickets to the sellers who in turn distribute them to the buyers. Tickets will be assigned by Date and Time Sold on a first come first served basis with Orange Chair backs going first until sold out followed by General Admission tickets.
Groups will earn 40% of the total money collected. This means your group will earn $2.00 for every $6.00 ticket sold. The group Ticket Manager will receive a check for the group on their game date in a pre-game ceremony at home plate. Groups expecting to sell 1000 tickets or more will be the exclusive selling group on that particular date. Other groups not expecting to sell large numbers of tickets may be combined with other small groups to sell on a particular date.
Fund Raising thru the 50/50 Half Pot Raffle
Groups that do sell 1000 tickets or more for a particular date will not only raise at least $2,000 for your group but will also be allowed to work the Half Pot for that date. The Half Pot Raffle at Bombers home games is a great way to build excitement for your groups special night and cap a great fund raising experience. Tickets for the Half Pot are sold throughout the game with the drawing held in the 6th inning. The winning fan keeps 50% or half the pot and your group or organization keeps the other half. The tickets are sold as follows:
1 ticket = $1.00 3 tickets = $2.00 8 tickets = $5.00 20 tickets = $10.00 For each home date played at League stadium a group or organization will be selected to run and earn the half pot for that date. In the top of the 6th inning we will select a winner of the half pot and the drawing will be done in between innings on the field in front of the crowd. The winning ticket drawn will receive half the money for that night's pot. The other half of the pot will go to the designated group/organization that worked that date.
For earning their share of the half pot that group or organization will provide the Bombers with 12 adults to work on that date. Five people will be in charge of selling the half pot tickets and the other seven will be working for the Bombers in various capacities (including but not limited to selling programs, tickets takers, ticket sellers, helping in the merchandise stand, ushers, or any other capacity deemed necessary by Bomber management. Groups will be asked to report 1 hour and 45 minutes prior to the start time of the game (gates will open 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to the game) and will be asked to work through the 5th inning.
